    #4641939 - 09/10/05 02:14 PM (11 years, 9 months ago)

my humidity is above 90% cause my meter reads HI .. and temps are at 76 degrees... mycelium already broke through... wondering if the humidity will either just keep the casing moist enough cause it was looking dry .. i sprayed some mists on it and now i looked at it 3 hours later looks like its coming back.. just wanna know if i should keep misting every few hours or the humidity will do it auto?

You need to mist as needed. Humidity does not make a casing more wet, you need to indroduce water to the casing still. Every few hours isnt needed...but mist as needed.

It might take care of itself but I would check the casing now and then. You can mist until the pins pop up. By that time the casing layer will have enough moisture to carry it through the first flush.
