What exactly is this stuff? I googled it and i think it is calcium sulfate? is this correct? where would one go about getting this stuff? I heard it keeps your WBS from sticking together in clumps....is this true? TIA

gypsum is drywall/sheet rock, the stuff your walls are most likely made from, yes it does help with keeping grains from sticking and it also helps to prevent wet spot

you can get scraps of it for free at home depot, they usualy toss out/give away
the broken sheets and they cut sheets into small strips for stacking the bundles
generaly to buy is a 4x8 sheet is only $5 and that quantity will last you a lifetime

If you're going to Home Depot, just ask for a small bag of gypsum. They sell it in the gardening section.

Drywall will work, but grinding it down may be messy!
