So all i could find at the store was Peet. Is this sufficient for a casing layer by its self?? If so, How should i sterilize it?
I have perlite and Lava Rock which need to be sterilized, how should i go about this???T.Y :rasta:.

Do you mean "Peat"? if so, the ph would need to be balanced and verm added for correct moisture content/retention. Also, I don't believe that perlite needs to be sterilized. When i re-use mine, i put it in the oven for a while so it doesn't smell anymore, but not before the first use. I doubt lava rocks would need to be either, but i've never used those and am not 100% sure.
