questions for the greenhouse users....
    #4637411 - 09/09/05 12:26 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

I know that c02 is heavier then o2 so it sinks to the bottom. Should I poke a couple of holes on the right and left side so c02 can leave the greenhouse? Also, since I use both an ultrasonic and cool mist should that be enough power to not use a fan to draw out the c02 from the two bottom holes?

Its probably not sealed completly is it? Co2 TENDS to sink, but its not like an anchor or anything, slight breezes will stir it up and stop it from sinking..as long as air can excape the chamber from somewhere, without drying it out..you'll be fine and you wont need to fan.

Then you probably wont need holes. It'll create pressure and force the gasses out of the spaces where it can.

Great! I'm just about done creating my greenhouse. I have to mount one more shelf on the bottom then wrap the plastic around the sides then I'm set! The Rubbermaid AT HOME 3' Linen Shelf Kit comes in handy :-)
