air sterilization in small rooms

im moving into a new apartment soon with a couple extra rooms.
i was wondering about the possibilites of air filter systems to keep a room sterile enough to grow shrooms openly..
or in a more open situation than just large tupperware containers.
i was thinking that it might not work just because of the needed humidity.. but i thought also i might be able to use a humidifier openly in the room.
if not openly in a room. what about in a large tent??


just curious as im looking into bulk. thanks for any help!

You could always get one or two of those standup plastic shelving systems, I think they are fiberglass or something at home depot. And seal plexiglass all around the sides to make a big transparent terrarium and put a port on top where your humidifier will be sitting.

you'd need a way to keep the humidity up, possibly some sort of large tent like thing would work, you'd just need to make sure that you could keep the humidity up in it without it soaking up water and stuff (you'd need a plastic like material, most tents will let water through over time... in case you've never been in a tent after its been raining for a while, heh). For the room, you could buy a hepa filter... if you keep the room clean with all your grow chambers/tents in it then they should remain fairly clean also as long as you don't introduce any contams to the chambers. Good luck with it... just an idea for bulk, you could make you a few larger grow chambers using plexi glass or something along those lines, maybe a few large ones instead of one huge one... in case one does happen to get contams introduced to it.
