These are not liberty caps. You have some Panaeolus or Panaeolina species. If the spore print is black, you may have Panaeolus subbalteatus.
Anyway, allow some time for the spore print and for the experts to reply.

I ate a few after feeling confident enough that they were either Panaeolus or liberty caps.
Right now im feeling kinda buzzed, as if i smoked a few joints. What does this mean...?

Yeah, I think I spotted a couple subbs in there POSSIBLY. Even if you had 2 subbs, you wouldn't feel anything though. Notice I emphasised the POSSIBLE part. Which is why you shouldn't eat mushrooms that you don't have 100% IDs for, because the can POSSIBLY be poisonous and kill you.. Sounds like you have some research to do if you thought those were libs.

well now that most of them are dry i found that they changed color. they faded to a light brown and the spore print color was black/dark brown with a purple overtone.

Wow, that was pretty damn stupid. Even though all I see is a mix of inactive Pans and other misc. lawn mushrooms (Panaeolus foenisecii, maybe some slimy Psathyrella longipes), which wont really harm you, you obviously do not have the knowlage or common sense to determine such imformation.
And that buzzing feeling, it's called a placebo effect.

yeah it was pretty dumb, im kinda ashamed at myself now...
From now on im always gonna get a proper id before eating them Still, i could've sworn it was the mushrooms and not my expectations attributing the sensations i felt last night. Everything i felt occured about 15-30 minutes after eating the mushrooms and it was exactly as described in the trip 1 level of the 5 trip report, and i ate about 3 or 4 mushrooms.
