contam or not? (good pic!)

So I have no idea if this is contamination or the substrate showing throgh, combined with water damage? When I was steaming the jars, some steam must have gotten into the jar, the substarte looked soggy and was heavier than the rest. As it was being colonised the soggy bits that were pressed up againsta the jar took long to cover and seem to still be there now. The cake smells pretty normal, and i dont want to throw it away if i dont have to.......... any imput would be really apreciated.............thanx

p.s. as I dont have a digital camera, I just stuck the cake on the scanner, and it seemed to work great!

I think that it looks fine. I am betting that that was the bottom of you jar right? Mine look like that when they come out too, nothing to worry about.
