I only made it to Star Scout before I quit. I just became entirely disinterested in it. And this was before I did drugs.

I made it up to first-class, and then quit. I noticed that bad weather seemed to follow me on every camping trip I went on.

Me too!
After a while it just got really annoying because even if the weatherman predicted a sunny day and cloudless night, without fail it would be cloudy, chilly, and rainy during the campout.

I actually once got a merit badge for bad-weather camping, due to one particular snow camping trip in which we snowshoed in for a few miles. Upon getting there, the temperature was just high enough to rain, rather than snowing. Getting hypothermia on the way back sure was fun.

I also got hypothermia on a Scout outing. It was a cross-country skiing trip.
I don't recall there being a "Bad Weather Camping" merit badge. I did however get seperate merit badges for the following:
Camping Wilderness Survival Weather
Combine those and I guess it would qualify as "Bad Weather Camping".

Wilderness Survival was a fun merit badge to get, probably my favorite. We sat around a fire that I had to keep going all night in the middle of no where, with no flashlights or sleeping bags or anything, just some matches. That was cool. And yeah, I don't remember a Bad Weather Camping badge either

I'm an Eagle Scout. I credit all all of my love of camping, hiking, and getting away from it all to my time in scouts. We had a very active troop. I got to do Philmont, Boundary Waters, cave camping, and winter camping too.

All I had left was the community service project. Needless to say I got into drugs and never finished, oh well. I too credit my love for the outdoors to scouts. While I was in I definetly learned alot of camping and outdoor stuff.

we used to do this "Polar Bear Exposition" every jan. in frkkin' New York, so it was so damm cold as fuck, onetime it was at this state park and it rained like all hell, it had bath houses, we were so cold we decided to go take hot showers, well alot of other guys were there too, place was packed, but it was warm, we told jokes, bull shitted with this cop who come in for some time, took turns 3 guys at as time warming up in the showers. We eventually bailed but still got the patch because it was offically called off that same night.
David grew up to be gay,,,,,ewwwwww, we took a shower with him.

I have a wilderness survival story for you.
We were at Camp Wakpominee, and we were working on the wildernes survival merit badge. We had hiked about a mile around Sly Pond to Dempsey Point were we set up camp. All we were allowed to bring were hatchets, knives, and flashlights.
Well, everyone was successful at building their make shift leantos, but at around midnight it started to pour, and then it started to thuderstorm.
It was the worst storm i have every been outside camping for. Trees were getting struck by lightning and dropping less than 100 yds from us.
Im an eagle scout as well.

I was...all the way from Tiger Cubs (or whatever the hell it is) up to Star, and then I lost interest. Went on monthly backpacking trips, and right before I quit, Philmont. That is to this day one of the most memorable experiences I've had - 11 straight days of backpacking all above 6,000ft, etc. Then my troop started getting over-run with hardcore Catholics and I began to disagree with some of the BSA's political decisions and dropped out.
