Don't know if anyone here likes this band or not, but I just got their new album if anyone wants me to upload it on yousendit i will and then post a link here.
The album is very unimpressive, like most of their recent releases, but they were good back in the day.

What does their name mean, again? I was always under the impression that it stands for "Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode".

KMFDM is a drug against war.
Television, religion, social destruction Sex and drugs, violent seduction Crystal dawn, ecstatic explosion Parental advice leads to mental erosion Stronger than never ever before KMFDM is a drug against war Line after line, round after round Empty shells fall to the ground Faster than lightning, high as a kite Sonic bombardment brighter than sunlight No need for needles, no injection The substance substitutes love and affection Total sedation of longing desire Cremation of senses in friendly fire

Lol, nah it doesn't mean that.
It means Kein Mitleid Fur Die Mehrheit.....I probably spelled that wrong because I dont speak German.
Anyhow, I guess it stands for "No pity for the majority."

I'd rather you upload a copy of ANGST, OPIUM or NAIVE. I'm going to see them in October @ The Metro (Chicago). I hope they don't play too many of their new songs.
XTORT is still my favorite album, I gave that CD a workout in highschool, haha. I actually have an XTORT poster on my wall right now.

The Prodigy is more of a electronica band I thought kicked ass, the crystal method was okay..I never liked them as much though, just a phaze..just like Gravity Kills..

I can up all that stuff.....I've got their entire discography...I just figured anyone that likes them would already have all that other stuff.
XTORT is a badass cd.....my favorite is Nihil....just because it has Raymond Watts all over that cd and that man is my god.

Ive seen them live a ton of times.....I've got some pretty cool stories about meeting them. I smoked weed with them one of the times that I met them, but I've hung out with them quite a few times because I always follow them around when they tour with Raymond Watts (which they are not touring with him this year so I wont be seeing them)

the only one I owned was Nihil..they were okay, I was into Nine Inch Nails..more, but that is Industrial rock more then techno.. I am into alternative rock again, I was into a phaze with rap for about 2-3 years, went back to exploring rock again..in all forms.

Nihil was a badass cd. There's a song on there called Flesh that is possibly my favorite KMFDM song.

They reunited in 2002 and released Attak (the first of a string of crappy releases).
Xtort is classic. Raymond Watts is pretty amazing (if you haven't checked out the Pig album "Wrecked", I highly recommend it!)

I haven't listened to KMFDM for a long while...
A much better German industrial band is Einsturzende Neubauten... I could upload an album if people were interested (might take a couple days to find it - I'm not exactly organized.)
