Anyone have any advice for sore feet?

I'm working in a factory for the time being (I hate it) and have to wear steel toe work boots. I'm on my feet for 8 hours a day, mostly in one spot and by the end of the day, I'm almost crawling to my bed.
Does anyone have any ideas that may help to remedy this? I got Dr Sholl's Jell Soles and they seem to help a little. Are there any other kinds that may work better? Today my back was really sore and I know it's a direct effect of my sore feet.
I'd be very thankful for any advice.

I had to wear steel toe boots for a job that required me to stand 8-10 hrs a day.
It sucks, better shoes help, but no matter what there's no getting rid of the pain fully.
You get used to it after a while, just make sure to sit the entire time on your breaks.

I was thinking something that wasn't a drug. I don't think it would be very smart for me to be high on anything while working in a factory, but that's just me.

We only get two 15 min breaks, and a 30 min lunch break which I fully take advantage of. I find that my toes hurt the most because I'm usually leaning over and putting most of my weight on my toes / ball of my foot. An upside of it tho, is that I always smell good. (We package expensive fragrances: Hugo Boss, Giorgio, etc)

I don't know what you can do while working. But when you get home sit back in a recliner chair, and soke those dogs in a wark bucket of water

I should get one of those foot massager things you can buy at the drug store. Actually, I think that will be my next purchase.

I have none. I don't think that would do me any good, but thanks, regardless.

The best thing I can suggest is to get a really good foot lotion and rub it on your feet everyday. This will prevent the balls of your feet from cracking and it'll help with the foot pain.
Otherwise you'll just build up a tolerance in time and you wont even notice anymore.

I should start doing that. Usually, by the time I get home, all I want to do is lay down or sleep. I also think it's a good idea to get that foot massager thing.
Thanks everyone.

Best advice. Shroomism is usually good with the homeopathic remedy thing.

I used to have a job where I stood the entire time. There's no way to really bypass it, but you do build muscles really fast and soon you won't even notice it.
