is the yellow stuff just mycelium "piss". as ive heard it described or am i in serious trouble here.

hah. i dont know. i havent exactly had the balls to pick up and handle my cake to get close enough to smell it. if it is piss... how should it smell.

It looks ok, and the correct term is 'metabolyte'. Mycelium does not have kidneys or a bladder.

It could be, but pics are a bit small.
Low Rh, High temps or aged cakes can also be a considering factor. They can all fit as an explanation for such discoloration process.
