NW Oregon's Fruiting Schedule
    #462977 - 11/19/01 03:22 AM (15 years, 22 days ago)

I was just curious if any of you are still having some luck along the upper Oregon coast, say from Astoria down towards Newport and further? I visited the coast this last weekend with a friend and we came back skunked, except for some nice edible specimens, which by the way were fantastic!
Let us know how your hunting adventures are going as the cold air moves in and begins to push fruiting further south. I'm curious as to how the fruits will fade out in the next couple of weeks. Keep us posted fellow hunters.

As of 5 days ago the Azures were still fruiting in Astoria. I will be headed there this weekend, I'll try to let you know how it goes.

hit the area 2x last week and did very well. yes the season did go until feb last year, and by the looks of it it might not be quite that long this year. the azures and cyans flush fairly continuously w/o any recovery time it seems. shit there is enough time left this season for me to get back there again.
