(Whole process)i personally got my cap cut the stem off as close to the gills as i could then placed it on a clean white paper. I then put a cup over the top and let it sit over night. I removed the cup and then the cap......folded paper into quarters and put in a zip-lock (all while being as sterile as possible)
I also read this (seems a bit more sterile)
**not much water in spores so it shouldn't take a long time to dry, just remember to let the rehydrate before you incubate!

Print in with something covering it, that isn't too small. Like If you make a print with a half pint jar you will always get a moist print because the area is so small it gets saturated will water easily. If one were to print inside of a glove box, or just use any other large cover the moisture that naturally evaporates from the cap will not saturate the air and your print wont be very moist to begin with. For drying, I just take the cap off and let the print(s) sit in the glove box for 12 hours and they are always dry.
