Finally, GROWTH! (pic)

Im finally gonna have shrooms. I knocked up my jars one week ago today and I just got back home to see some nice myc growing in every jar. After 1 week, thats not bad for my first attempt. I dont have a TIT so i just stuck all 11 jars in my bottom drawer and covered witha shirt.
Jars~ 11 inoculated 8/29 (pfjars.com)
Spores~ 1cc a piece (ebay guy)

After they are fully colinized (how long will that take?) I am gonna dunk in jars for 24 hours and stick them in the chamber... perlite, air pump in sealed chamber.

I have an air pump in the chamber, do i need hole for the CO2 to escape?
How do i know if all the jars are growing myc and not mold. It looks all white and fuzzy for now?
How long do you guys think i have to go from here to get my shrooms?

Take the foil off.

Mycelium is white, most molds are not.

30-50 days

a type of green mold i saw started out white a ripped through that jars.  "OMG MYCELLIUM", my cat shouted.  couple days later, bam, green spores everywhere.  i think by a week the mold should show its true colors.  you should be fine.  smell would be a good indicator.  once you know that 'mushroom' smell after this grow, you shouldnt have this problem again.  some myc is fuzzier than others

yes. take off the foil man.. o2 o2 o2. let that mycelium breathe my friend. i inoculated my jars and it took them almost 3 weeks fully grow mycelium. one of them isnt even done yet.. the other one i put in the fruiting chamber about a week ago, and its just now starting to possibly grow stuff. (things take time... they dont just pop up out of nowhere)
