They were cased August 28th and let incubate until the 31st.
Then I put them into my Fruiting Chamber on Septemeber 1st.
Do they look like they're doing well?
What are those things pointing out of the casing layer?
I'm assuming they're just some fluffy mycelium..
BTW: The 2 macro shots are of the big casing...

Edit: It's rhizomorphic growth YAY!!!
Edit 9/05/05:
here are some more pics that I just took:

So how long in your guys' experience does it take from Primordia to Pin?
And I know, depends on blah blah blah...
Just wondering in your circumstances...

Honestly, I haven't been anxious my whole grow.
I've let everything take it's needed time.
It's that I'm sooo close to the end...
------------
I've been doing 4+ air exchanges a day... (you can see the humidity on the sides in the second set of pics)
Temps are between 73-77 deg. F.
Light is 12/12

its the most crucial time right now to keep the pinset coming strong. even more air exchanges would be better, 1-3 per hour would be optimal. any misting goin on?

ahhh, yes. you have the air pump and perlite, wow. for casings you don't want your rh to be as high as it is. i would ditch the perlite and just use the air pump in water. that by itself will be plenty for rh and air exchange, what size pump you using? Maybe try putting some holes stuffed with polyfil a little above the casing height. then you have no more need for manual fanning. i still mist just to keep the moisture levels up in the casing layer. do this from a distance though 1-2' and use a sweeping motion while misting. this will help create a fine mist gently falling on the casing layer.
