So to start yall off I'm Mario i live in south central Texas. I was camping down by the river last night with some buddy's but before you get to the river you pass all these fields with cows and longhorns. but i didn't pay any attention you know i was partying i got all drunk and passed out in my truck. Woke up and got my stuff ready and started taking off but then i see these shrooms growing on some shit. So i immediately stopped and made sure the coast was clear and ran and grabbed a few of them like ten. they look pretty white but they have a hint of cold on the cap in the middle only a little tho and the bottom of the caps are very dark and it looks like gills. and they turn purple when touched or dark blue hard to tell what the color really is. SO can i eat these I'm drieing them as we speak pls let me know so i can plan another trip tonight.;)

your description isn't good enough.

II. Accurate mushroom descriptions

It is critical that you describe mushrooms fully and accurately in order to get a proper identification.

A good picture of the mushrooms is invaluable, but not required.
Along with the pictures YOU ARE REQUIRED to provide the following data:

* Habitat (where [woods, pasture, state,province,country, altitude] and what [soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?)] does it grow on)
* Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
* Characteristics of the stem (length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
* Characteristics of the cap (diameter,color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
* Spore print color (very important!)
* Color that the mushroom bruises
* Scent of the mushroom

sounds like they could be Chlorophyllum molybdites, which can make you very sick. take a spore print and post a better description. if they're too dry to do that, throw them away and find some fresh ones.
