What other terrorist acts of God should we be watching out for?

Hopefully Russia got the memo that Pittsburghs steel factories shut down 30 years ago.

Well, I remember the day it crossed over Florida...I heard one of the newscasters mention that the waters in the Gulf of Mexico were in the 80-90 degree range and I thought to myself, "oh shit, this is going to get much worse". I wouldn't call that a prediction though, more like an educated guess.

I sort of predicted the death toll. Just before it made landfall someone in OTD asked what their prediction was in terms of loss of life. Most people gussed a few hundred, I guessed over a thousand at least would perish. I thought I was giving a liberal prediction at the time, but it looks like it could be alot higher than just a 1000

Well, people predicted that a major hurricane was going to wipe out South Louisiana 3 years ago.
http://www.sciamdigital.com/browse.cfm?I...enameCHAR=itemP
It's nothing suprising to me. Major natural disasters are going to increase in severity until there is a climate shift, when the ice caps melt and Europe becomes the new Arctic. I don't think people's first estimations of the casualties were realistic because it is as much a natural disaster as it is a man-made disaster. Getting food and water down to New Orleans is important but, the evacuation process will prove fundamental if there comes an outbreak of typhoid and cholera. This isn't clean water, it's shit infested toxic waste and dead bodies going through rigor mortis.
About a week before the Hurricane was being announced on National television I was keeping watch on www.intellicast.com like I always do. I was telling family about it before the news.

What other terrorist acts of God should we be watching out for?
Terrorist acts of God?
How about a hurricane made more intense by the warmer waters in the Gulf caused by the activities of Man?
OK, I predict "God" will create more frequent and intense hurricanes and increasingly warm weather as time goes on...
As for Katrina, I only predicted the death toll. I predicted 20,000 mostly from the flooding. It just didn't seem like the mandatory evacuation was being done. Unfortunately, with that and the slow rescue it now looks like perhaps 10,000 dead with potential for more.

Oh good, I was wondering when someone was going to start blaming global warming.
Let's see your evidence.

You were waiting for the beginning of it? RFK Jr started that a few days ago the stupid cunt. I think he suggested criminal trials for Halet Barbour. I am so glad his focus is down there now and not in NY. Please someone do the humane thing and put him in Sean Penn's boat

-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers
