Sorry if this sounds dumb, but i really dont know how much poo to buy. I plan on purchasing from tennstud.

how many lb's wet would be needed to fill about 4 tubs with demensions 4"deep x 2ft long x 1ft wide? Accuracy isnt an issue, just looking for a ballpark figure.

i'm horrible at math, but if i did it correctly that's 2.5 ft cubed. i'd take a guess and say 10lbs would fit in each tub... so might be lookin at 40lbs... complete guess... just tryin to help...good luck

On the tennstud website, its says that a 5 pound bag will fill a tub that's 12x12 inches wide to a depth of about 4 inches.

12x12x4 = 576 in^3

24x12x4 = 1132 in^3 = 576x2.

So it would take 10 pounds (2 five pound bags) to fill your needs.

That is, of course, if he's talking about wet weight on his website.

If he's talking about dry weight, then it would take 30 pounds wet (=10 pounds dry) to fill the same amount.

Well from my experience with horsey poo (get mine for free locally), I would get as much as you can possibly store because when you run out youll be pissed you didnt get more, its happened to me. And depending on how you plan on storing it (I keep mine in a shed in 5gal buckets with no lids) its good to stock up on nice dry poo before winter, as its kind of a bitch to get fresher poo to dry in the winter. Poo can go a long way tho, if you use minimal amounts of spawn, I always go 50/50 because it colonizes REALLY fast. Just my minimal experience here tho.
