right or wrong?

well i just cased 12 jar in two different containers with a 1/2 in on bottome and1/2 in on top (of verm). i know your supposed to leave covered in warm place until about 20to 30 percent covered in mylicylum. so i put them in my rubber maid with perilite and water in warm place. Are you supposed to fan for air exchange or is it ok to leave it until the myli is grown in. it is very humid in my rubber maid will this help or hinder? Need help Thanks in advance ; p

Cover your casings with foil. Poke a few holes in the foil with a fork. This will encourage colonization of your casing layer. No need to fan yet. Your rubbermaid is a fine incubator.

thanks also have one cake in term and have it sitting directly on perilite the perilite has perxoide in it will this hurt the cake, I have one pin starting yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

As long as the H2O2 is properly diluted, your cake should be ok...If you had a heavy mixture, the only risk would be surface mycelial damage, that would in laymens' terms 'glue' the surface shut.

A 10:1 H2O/H2O2 ratio will work fine.
