need help identifying
    #4607521 - 09/01/05 09:54 AM (18 years, 7 months ago)

ok, so I went to go check on my bags of horse maneur this morning and I found 2 tall, thin, whitish mushrooms growing from the more moist part of the maneur in the bag. The cap shapes resemble if you cut a ball in half. They are round, but not pointed at top. There is no veil, the gills are perfectly horizontal from the stem. There's just a touch of light tan at the top of the cap to. If anyone can help me identify these, I'd really appreciate it. Here's some updated pictures(thanks for the tips)
Thanks

you can also resize them in ms paint, go to "stretch/skew" and replace the 100's with 25's and click ok.

Ifran Viewer rocks! And it's free... www.irfanview.com.

Use the batch conversion / rename in the file menu to resize.

Without a picture its impossible to tell but they sound a lot like Stropharia Semiglobata. I find lots of these when hunting, they have very slimy caps - inedible.

i found this picture to compare yours with.
