I bought a new gun today.

I decided to get a Ruger 10/22 in a .22 Magnum. It's got a bull barrel thats very thick. I'm ordering a complete 10/22 action kit with titanium parts that replace just about everything, except the firing pin. I'm using a heavier metal for the firing pin. I purchased a competition trigger and sear and just finished putting that in. My trigger pull is now 2.5lbs of pressure. It's about the smoothest trigger pull that I've ever felt.

I haven't put a scope on it yet, as I'm undecided exactly which one I want to put on. Probably a 3x/9x, but I'll see what it can do. I took it to the range and put 200 match-grade rounds through it, but the range is only 100 yards. I shot a half inch group with open sights. I should be able to, with a good scope, take it out to 500 yards and keep it in a four inch group.

Thats what mine looks like, except for the stock and the scope. My stock is shaped like that but is Kevlar and it's a grey color. Notice how thick the barrel is.

I'm probably going to order that stock, the more I look at it. It's pretty neet.

Targets mainly. I'm not that much into hunting, although I might start this year.

Sounds pretty cool, that is good .22 out of the box. I wouldn't do that to a gun that small but they sure are alot of fun.
