R.I.P Figgy Bower
    #4616758 - 09/03/05 05:29 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

My Favorite bird(parakeet) Fig(Figgy)died on Friday September 2nd 2005
after suffering for a week and a half.

I buried him in a box with his favorite mirror, cigarettes, salvia divinorum, morning glory seeds,HBWR seeds, marijuana seeds, millet seed,Cacti seeds(San pedro,Peruvian Torch, and peyote),a velvet crown royal bag as a bed/blanket, and a note saying I loved him and that I hope to see him in his next life.

After he was buried, I placed a Japanese pagoda over the burial site and a praying Buddha incense holder under the four legs of the pagoda (directly over the buried box)

Here are some pictures of the burial site(the pagoda and buddha):

I just wanted to post this so there is a lasting memorial to my bird.

That is a really creative burial method.  Nice to see that you didn't

just throw him in a hole and throw some dirt over him.  Birds have

feelings too.  I hope Figgy is in a better place.  And judging by

what you put in the box with him, I'm sure he is.

Yes, I hope the the gods/spirits that reside in the items(salvia,HBWR,MG,MJ,tobacco,etc...) I placed with him will guide him to a better place.

Figgy would thank you for such a nice burial and treating him well during his time here.

Thanks dblaney18, I hope his spirit is with me right now, or at least soaring through the sky. I will try to visit figgy in the spirit world the next time I smoke salvia.

Thats sad dude. Loosing a pet really sucks. Wish you luck. Your bird is in good hands.

birds are cool, my parents have always owened lovebirds though, they are so similar to parrots, just like parakeets are. That is sad to hear! they seem like a part of the family too in a way. They are very intelligent too.
