Stomach acid's effect on potency....

I've read that the acid in your stomach will burn up around 90% of the active ingredient in mushrooms... What if you were to take some Zantac ~30 min. before you dosed? Zantac is supposed to block off some of the pores that the acid glands emit it from, would this help protect more of psylocybin? has anyone tried this?

Should i try it. Or maybe tums. Tums buffers the acid.

Hmmm, i hope that tums doesn't kill the acid and prevent it from being digested

I wouldnt know, zantac actually cuts off some of the acids ways of getting to your stomach, I think it still lets it out for digestions, because I can still eat while taking it. I guess you'd have to chew them up really well though, they're tuff for your stomach to digest in any circumstance.

Any Chem majors out there think this could be a bad idea???

I don't mind being a gueini pig, as long as it won't result in lava piss, heart failiar,or impotance.
