Smoking Magic Mushrooms.. Going blind?

I myself have never smoked magic mushrooms, one reason why I haven't is because first of all, its sketchy whether or not it is even going to get you high or not, and I've heard that if you were to get the smoke from these burning mushrooms in your eye, it is possible to go blind :S. I was just wondering if anyone of you guys know whether or not that is true, the whole going blind from smoking magic mushrooms thing..

I will admite to trying some dust in a bowl when I was 14. If you do try it..after one puff I think you will make the right choice and not give it another go... HEAT DESTROYS PSILOCYBIN thats why they are cold dryed.
