Is the PF Tek out of date?
    #461061 - 11/17/01 01:06 AM (23 years, 2 months ago)

Allright I followed the PF Tek and i was wondering if it is a waste of time. I mean i recently came across other teks that seem to be more up to date. Which Tek should I follow (suggestions). I also have my jars in the closet, and was wondering after how long and what should they kinda look like until I put them into sunlight. Fill me in here fellas, cause i dont want this to be total loss. Thx in advance. Peace

PF tek is not out of date. It doesn?t go very deeply into details, but it works if you follow it.
There are pictures on the www.fanatucus.com site that show you how the cakes are supposed to look.

yea, pf tek works.  just check out their pics so you know what stuff is supposed to look like, and choose whichever method you like.  i hear casing works nicely.

your jars should be kept in your closet til all of the substrate is covered in white mycelium.  then if you want, just let it sit there for a few more days (maybe a week), and then you can do like pf says and introduce light for invitro pinning.. however, i say fuck the cakes in the terrerium, case them babies!
