I just got this with my order of San Pedro seeds very happy I got the seeds . It came with Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum I would like to know how to reach the effects of this herb. I tried smoking it though failed so im sure it's chewing and looked it up and only saw couple places where you should chew them but im not sure how much I should chew.

you won't be able to extract any actives from the seeds. that is why the seeds are legal. San Pedro is a slow growing cacti, and has beautiful flowers.
sorry, but you will be looking at 5-7 yrs, before you get any buttons to chew.

San Pedro isn't peyote.
You could get 3 feet of pedro in 2 years tops.
San Pedro is actually one of the fastest growing psychoactive cacti.
Peyote on the other hand, muy despacio...

Ok guys your talking about something im not. I said Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum its a herb not a cacti. It came with the seeds and yes it isnt a Peyote cacti otherwise i'd wet myself and go blind. It's a San Pedro and Torch seed/seeds. They grow tall within 1-3 years based on how good their taken care of. Now enough about that and more about Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum... how would I get the general high on it just chewing the leaf?

I can't find shit on that..
Not even on Erowid.org...
I googled it and it just came back with a bunch of plant sites like plants.usda.gov and shit..
I think it's related to kanna?
On erowid there wasn't a specific comeback, but one of the journals under kanna metioned Mesembryanthemum but nothing on nodiflorum...

Mesembrine. I don't know about that exact plant, but I'd assume you could use it any way you can use kanna, which can be smoked, insufflated, chewed... pretty much anything.
Speaking from experience with kanna, it's not really anything I'd call a "high" either. It's more of a subtle mood booster. There are no blatant effects to be had from it. Taking it puts me into a good mood, but it feels the same as if I were in such a mood naturally.
Also, I don't know how potent the slender ice leaf plant is in comparison, but speaking for kanna the doses are pretty low - on the order of a tenth of a gram, so start small. I seem to recall that much higher can cause some nausea or something, though I'm not entirely sure on that. Since it is the same active chemical you should be able to do searches on kanna for better information if you need any.
