 I Couldn't Picture a Better Way to Live.

I was in Montana a few weeks back. (Not my first time) But, this time something was different. I really fell in love with the place. Its simplicistic lifestyle, all of it. I took a bunch of pictures, but unfortunately my camera seems to be missing. I'm in the midst of packing, so it should turn up soon.
So, here's just a general view of what I saw (of course, not mine):
I could just image waking up everymorning to that. Then, maybe dosing about 2 grams, and enjoying everything around me. Being away from city life, out on your own, having your girl (or guy) by your side. It just wouldn't get any better than that.
This time that I was up there, I checked out apartments. I must say, its suprisingly cheap. Once I finish my degree, I'll more than likely head up that way. I couldn't picture a better way to live.

living is cheap and easy for a reason.
unless your dad owns the local business, you're
not going far.

I knew a kid who went to University of Missoula - after he stopped taking classes, he bummed around the college town for a while and got a job as a chef... supposedly a big head community there. Living wouldn't be glamorous but might be fun for a while.
Cold! Don't go too far west... it's so fucking cold and desolate they I've heard that they still allow squatters rights - just hook up some gas and water and you're in business!

Its weird. I was born and raised most of my life in Florida. But, I do happen to like a colder atmosphere.
Oh yea, I'm not looking for a glamorour way of living at all. Its not that I'm lazy, it just my personality. I like living the simple ways.
But, I've spent many months and had plenty of experiences out west to know what I'm getting into. I just really happen to like.
...I wish I could find my camera.

True dat! I love Montana with all my heart, but it can be rough place to live. My parents are always trying to get me to come back, telling me how great the job market is. Yeah, right. I will go back some day, but I'm still exploring the rest of America.
The weather is pretty harsh, too. It gets so freakin' hot in the summer, then so freakin' cold in the winter. Camping is kinda limited to 4 months of the year. That's why I like the south, where I can go camping in Janueary if I want. Yeah!
P.S. Part of the reason I warn of Montana's perils is so the Californians and Seattlites stop buying all of the land and jacking up land values.
