Wet verm
    #4608204 - 09/01/05 02:49 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

Hey guys,
Todays the day i start my cakes but i had one question. Can i put my vermiculite in a strainer and soak the entire thing, then just let the excess water drain? Or would this make the water ratio to high. Thanks.

if this is your first grow... i'd suggest that you follow the tek exactly until you get the hang of it, then modify whatever you wish.

seems kind of messy to me, i'd stick with the recommended ml. just because i'm 'kean on being clean'

If you wet the verm and drain your water ratio will be accually below what is suggested. I tried this and had to ADD water (only a bit) to get the right amount. Do it the normal way your first time, then you will have an eye for the moist level you want for you spores. Then you can custombatch your next.
