Watering our batches
    #4606839 - 09/01/05 12:27 AM (18 years, 7 months ago)

What would be the big deal if we watered our batch of mushrooms that are shaded n covered from the sun.

would that be a substitute for rain

it depends on how hot it is what the humidity is, and how long they have been colonizing(sp sorry a bit drunk tonight), and what type of mushies you are growing

in order for ps cyan to begin fruiting it needs cold temps of around 45 or 55, and by that time your bound to see some rain. watering it could possibly speed up the colonization of the area for when the temps drop down enough to induce pinning. go ahead and give it a try whenever you think is right, but they arent gonna pin till the above temps are met.
