I need a little advice

OK, I knew from the start that growing mushrooms took patience but this is getting ridiculous. I innoculated my jars at the end of August. Now granted, they were pint jars since I couldn't find 1/2 pint I did double the recipe. They took sooo long to colonize. They finally finished about 3 weeks ago. So I cased them. Now I'm waiting for the mycliem to cover the top layer of my casing but it's taking FOREVER. 3 weeks and all I have are a two little patches. Is there any tricks to make it grow a little faster? Maybe some heat? (It's usually about 70-75 degrees in my house.) Could it be the strain? It's B+ ordered from The Hawks Eye. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

im at month 5 and my only success is 2 1/2 pint jars that i just birthed last night and the only reason im that far is cos i traded 3 syringes for 2 of my buddies colonized cakes. if patience is a virtue i must be god or something. either that or just a total moron. possibly both??

Your idea about heat is right on. 70-75 is okay, but 86 is ideal! Then once pinning begins lower temp a tad again.
