this has worked great for me for many years in another application. the one i have has a temp and humidity, i imagine in a martha or greenhouse type setup they would work great.

Depends, if it's for plants it will turn onif the humidity gets to high, you want one that turns on when it gets to low.
But I don't know much about plants I just take pics

this is not for plants and has a switch to trip appliances on or off at the given Rh. Closet or martha mush humidistat

im not sure if these things trip on to humidify past 85, anything new experience wise?

hey kilgore, the one i have is not going to work. the one i have is something like magash is talking about. so i guess i just go with some timers. It doesn't really work that well over the 80% mark.

yeah i might be able to get by here with letting everything run 24/7

ive got a big evaporative cool mist piped in for air exchange, and another evaporative sitting on the floor of the growroom with an ultrasonic fogger in it. the room will hold like 20 17qt trays, and without those in there shit is already at 90%, it may get higher since i'm in the middle of testing things out for the first time. i hope it stays right at 90%, because thatd be dope itself and once the trays are in there shit'll go up a little bit.
