maybe until a branch or something comes flying thru the air at 160 mph and puts a hole straight thru your chest... cars and buildings can't survive the wind and rain. what make you think you can?
would be a nice thing to witness if you were in an industructable bubble or sumthin tho

ah wut happens happens, itd be worth it to take that risk to be in that storm
besides the reason ppl died in this storm is because they decided to stay in their home, rather than leave and go to safety

My whole family is down in Biloxi, MS. I just saw some footage yesterday on the WLOX website and my hometown looks like an atomic bomb hit. It has been about 4 days now that we havent been able to call or talk to anyone. I still havent talked to my dad or my friends, most of who live only a 10th of a mile from the water.
It is pretty crazy down there, i saw a picture of a bunch of the massive boats they call casino's sitting on our main highway, and another one sitting on top of a holiday inn.
I wish i was there for it, this hurricane was/will more historic and impacting than any other hurricane so far.

My brother is sailng in the pacific right now but he lives in New Orleans. I can't believe that he has to come back to land to find out this shit. He lives in the basement of another persons house so I am pretty sure he had been flooded out.

yea and the city is filling up and up still, at least that dude grabbed a good quality beer haha and if 80% of the city is flooded i say they shouldnt bother rebuliding, because its just gonna happen again and worse. and for the people that didnt leave its not that they didnt its because half that population is poor and couldnt even get out if they tried because there is nowhere close to go that city is in the middle of nowhere to begin with.
