So I was just in an accident
    #4599575 - 08/30/05 05:45 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

Yeah I was driving down a road and a guy pulls out right in front of me, entirely oblivious to my horn blasting at him so I slammed into the rear of his car.

Luckily no one was hurt...the cops came (had some hash in my pocket....could have ended badly, lol). The guy was entirely in the wrong and is having his car impounded (not entirely sure why?). My bumper is totally destroyed, but I kinda feel bad for the guy.

Whatever though...I was lucky...didn't even have my registration info. in my car.

But the best part was when I called my mother to let her know...in a typical Jewish mother fashion was shocked, then appauled, then seemed offended that I wasn't upset...I don't think I'll ever understand that woman.

word, well, maybe he had some issues with the police. Sucks about your car too man, but, as long as you're not hurt it dont matter. I need to go get my bumper repaired due to a dumb girl who thought it would be good to back out without looking or responding to my horn.

Your lucky you don't live in Florida. If you did you would be getting sued and a judgement would definately be had. In FL we have a law that if you hit someone from behind its your fault no matter what. Even if the person cuts you off if you hit the back of their car its your fault. If someone cuts you off so bad that you can't avoid hitting the I am told its best to ram into the side of their car, the side their cutting you off with instead of the back.

It almost happened to me a couple weeks ago some dumb black bitch cut me off so fucking bad I had to veer to the left and slam my breaks, I did a 180. I was fucking pissed so I straightened out and rode her ass holding my horn. I caught up with the bitch at a stop light and she rolled down her window and start cussing at me like it was my fucking fault.

Alot of things in Florida are crazy. These black people one a 15K a piece judgement against my moms insurance because she dented their bumper going 15mph at a stop light. They claimed back injuries a week later. For some reason believe it or not her premiums didn't go up though.

Yeah I've heard Florida has some seriously twisted rules and people and that certainly seems like a good example!

Do you think I'd win anything in court? I think it's doubtful...

Well what most people do is try and find a lawyer that represents you in a suit based on a percentage they get out of the settlement or judgement. They don't get paid unless you collect. They usually get most the money but still you get something. If you can't find any of those to represent you then chances are if you hired an attorney then you wouldn't get a settlement or judgement either.

he clearly had some other shit going on if his car was
impounded.

but, hey, you were part of the cosmic hand there for

Yeah, the ambulance chasers get like 40% of the settlement, if you win.
