I've been researching the A. Muscaria for the past two days, both its history and scientific information. I could not find any information on whether such a mushroom grew in Northeast Florida. The most information I found on regions were Asia, Europe, North and Central America. Sorry if there is a certain place that has answered this. If you just point me there I will gladly read, but if not would anyone mind shedding some light on this? Also, if the A. Muscaria does grow in Northeast Florida, would it be best to search in pine and pine scrub forests? Thanks.
