storm in texas, flooding bad?

yo it just rained severly here with tornados and extensive flooding...despite the rain would the flooding and high winds actual hinder growth of cubensis? i was planning to go look sat morning but i am questioning if its worth it

Moisture is a mushrooms best friend. Over moisterizing would include the mushroom habitate being underwater in the case of flooding, if that is not the case, go forth and hunt. Rawk, my neighbor is mr orvilson

would it make any sense to go looking since its flooded and high winds have ripped through, i mean the fields are actually flooded with water not just well watered. what do you think?

Where abouts in texas are you? I doubt that over the past couple of days there should still be too much standing water in the fields... and besides whether or not you find anything its always worth the look =)

Once an area of pasture is flooded it will be no good to find shrooms on for usually about a month.
