Double Tub Questions

I've been lurking here for a while, but this is my first post, and I have a couple of questions about the doubletub method.

1) Is the spawning to h/poo necessary for the humidity of the environment? Basically, if i don't spawn, and straight case my grain, will it still work the same?

2) Does anyone have any knowledge, or links to reading concerning smaller scale double tubs?

Thanks a bunch in advance. This community is amazing. As soon as i get a successful grow under my belt, i'll feel a bit more confident answering others' questions.

no straight casing the grains is not the same as spawning to poo. spawning to poo will give you a much better outcome than just straight casing.
the h poo does not control the humidity of the environment at all. you still need to do some misting or have other means to provide humidity.

smaller scale double tub tek, as long as you have two tubs the same size they should work. for that matter a single tub would work just as well. just read the tek and apply it to your size tubs.

i understand about poo giving larger, more potent fruits; i ask because i only have three pints of colonized rye, and have yet to be successful in my quest for h/poo. thus, perhaps i could not spawn it and shrink it down. on the other hand, perhaps innovation without experience is a bit foolish. i think i'll go get some poo and do this proper.

hey better safe than sorry... look in the phone book for stables, horse ranches, riding schools, ect

if all else fails tenn stud will work

Hpoo is definitely very easy to find if you point a little bit of effort in. 5 mins with the phone book is most likely all it will take.
