Is it ok to have a high humidity (80)during the stage of incubation?
the temp is about 82.

If it's jars you don't need to worry about RH. Just keep the temps at 80-84 and your golden. GL, Peace! :wink:

I prefer it...if you incubate jars in too dry of climate, the top portion of the jar will dry quite a bit...Someone always used to incubate his jars in 80% or so humidity...

I've never had a problem with that, and I've had them incubating in the dead of winter in an open room, where the ambiant RH is only 50%. But I guess a little humidity wouldn't hurt. GL!

Well...summertime in socal can easily get to 25%...it dries out the jars some...Someone I know used to have racks of jars in a spare bedroom...a heater and a humidifier...perfectly happy little jars...
