Someone just informed me that even if you grow the mushrooms yourself that in every batch there are poisonous ones. This made no sense to me but I just want to double check before anyone I know ingests poisonous mushrooms.

I would venture that they were referring to searching in the wild for shrooms and picking them. But then again, my psycic powers have been on the fritz lately so I could be wrong.

That's some funny shit. A typical mushroom hunter response. Try foraging for morels as a newbie. Some experienced picker will hit you with: "Uh, hey -- those look poisonous. Better give 'em to me."

If you grow your own, you're ensuring that none of them are poisonous.
