Burglary Call Leads To Pot Bust

A man and woman who called police about a possible burglar in their house in Maine ended up being arrested themselves after police found what they say was a large, indoor marijuana-growing operation.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department said it received a call at about 1:15 Monday morning about a possible burglary in progress in Gray. The caller told police that he and a woman who also lived at the residence had just returned home and heard someone inside the house.

When deputies arrived, they entered the home and detected the strong odor of marijuana. In all, sheriff's officials say they found 125 high-quality marijuana plants -- but no burglary suspects.

Thirty-six-year-old Michael Guerrini and 26-year-old Katherine Moore were charged with trafficking in marijuana.

well obviously they are'nt,but i dont see how they can charge trafficking, unless they have proof, if not then i would think it could only be considered intent to sell or manufacturing or something.

ive seen a half ounce go in a days time, and if i had that much pot, im sure it would be gone pretty fast for personal consumption too.
