OK everyone has a knowledge of the Id, ego and superego.. The Id is our primal instincts. this is the brain capacity of most animals.. to our knowledge, animals cannot think I, me, my- this is the ego.. that's what separates us from them.... stay with me here... now in early human ancestry, even before homo sapiens, we learned how to use fire. This along with communication, relationship, shelter etc made life easier... So with all these luxuries like cooked food and shelter, it gave us a lot of time to sit and not worry about surviving....In my opinion, this is where we eventually grew an ego and the conscious thought.. after a million or so years, we had most of the time to think but still didn't know all the answers.. like how are we here, whats making this rain and where do we go when we die..At the time we had no f-ing way to answer these questions. this is how I think religion started.
in past 100 years or so,with science, we found out the answers to most of these complex questions.We proved that the earth wasn't formed in 7 days- we proved that gods weren't the reason a hurricane blew our house away-we proved we weren't just put on this earth as humans...I just think that our perception of god is bullshit. I believe that we are our own gods.. After death, we aren't going to an alternate dimension based on what you did in your life(heaven and hell). so what do you think about my thoughts? have anything to add? Do you agree? does it anger you??? I'd like to know

They're not really that different than those I've had for years.
Except I'm not sure if I accept Freud's theories of the mind as truth. How do we know the nature of the subconscious? Perhaps there's just the ego, instinct and the memories, and everything not part of our everyday conscious "I" simply comes from our memories or nature. Perhaps there's nothing at all beneath the surface besides the bare essentials of survival, not these massively complex archetypes and drives.

Actually we aren't the only animals with a sense of self. Many of the higher primates, dolphins, and even many birds have been shown to have AT LEAST a limited idea of sense of self. Some animals actually have self awareness thought be be close to that of humans.

iv heard about that, thats really cool. wut i really wonder about is deers, they eat weed and shrooms... do they trip? do they have a spiritual side? animals r interesting to learn about

Animals are very interesting which is why im getting a degree in wildlife biology. I imagine that animals would experience drugs sort of like we do, I just wonder what goes throught their minds while they're fucked up. Probably stuff thats more profound than anything we could imagine seeing as we're alot more brainwashed towards close-mindedness.

thats what i was thinking.. even dogs have a sence of my or whatever... why would they get mad when you trespass "their" territory if it wasnt "his" or "mine" to the dog....

I've had experiences on psychedelics which led me to believe that death involves a return to a state of oneness with the universe. One day, while really stoned, I started thinking about the position of those who don't believe in an afterlife--that after death there is nothingness. Then I thought about how nothingness might feel, and I realized it would probably be quite similar to the feeling of oneness I get on high doses of psychedelics. Before that, I was afraid of the idea of there being no afterlife, but after having that epiphany, I am now comfortable with the idea of nothingness.

some of them dont have as complex of a brain which means they dont have as many receptors as us... but that does NOT mean that they cant trip. they could get a complete visual trip.. the truth is, we dont really know.... yet

interesting and I would have stuff to say if I was in a philisophical mood.
I like people posting their ideas and stuff
hehe I find it funny how common spiritual and philisophical posts are showing their face more and more in the pub  hehe I think people tired with S&P find something much better in starting these discussions in the pub, for some reason. It's cause we rock! 
I totally can see some of your ideas being plausible. Luxuries totally gave as more...and maybe too much  ....time to think. I'd like to talk about it more, but not tonight.

i ponder all pf this 24/7, but where do we really go when we die!? anyway, if anyone opf yous can tell me... that would be pretty weird ya dead bastards. But maybe this is just a dream i'm creating in my head, no ones really here im just asleep, the shroomery doesn't exist, its my dream, you's are a part of my dream, just like everything else in the world. That theory isn't likely though.
