I will ask this one last time....

So how do you think your mom and dad will feel attending your funeral!

You will not find Cubes on a Golf Coarse.. Might find a Sub or two but with your IQ I highly doubt that!

Get a life! Get a grip! Get a clue! Get a Field Guide to Florida Mushrooms!

Get it? Got It? good !

Now go do something more productive like smoking Salvia or Banana peels!

Attached gills.... Not hard to figure this one out the gills are attached to the stem.. Here is a picture so you can get a better grasp!

Now... You need to grow up and stop picking every stinking mushroom you come across its just bad practice if you don't know what your looking for... You don't want them around.. You may have a friend who has a lesser IQ than you and from you talking and picking them he may eat one and then we go back to the how will your mom and dad feel thing! Throw them out.. Get a clue on what your looking for and go from there..

OK first of all i don't know whats your deal i haven't eaten any of them and I'm here to get help and if you stop being so arrogant maybe you wont seem like such a dick. all you have to say is that they are no good even people with low IQ's can understand that don't you think? if i had an idea of what i was looking for then i wouldn't be here now would i, dick. so if your going to be a arrogant i know everything then when you see my post how about you just ignore it.. O.K...OK

batteryacid, i have given you many clues as to how to find active mushrooms... did you try my links? STOP BRINGING US RANDOM MUSHROOMS! theres too many to ID and you have NO CLUE WHAT YOUR DOING! find what active mushrooms grow in your state, find what they grow on, and during what months. Your mushroom is the very poisonous chlorophyllum molybdites, and sadly when I was a newbie, I ate one cause someone I was with told me it was a cube. The hospital strapped a bag around my waist that hung over the edge of the table to catch the 6 foot showers of bloody diahrea that excreted from my swollen sore bowels. Now the next time you bring a random mushroom here for ID, expect to get no answer, or to get flamed. Your lazy and you need to be doing some research here in order to find what your looking for. Until then, dont bring us thousands of random mushrooms.

Holy hell.  I'm so glad I don't eat what I can't ID.

Here's another hint:

I can't see your pics, cuz they're links, but as soon as I saw this:

I knew they weren't cubes.
It's obvious that you have read the hunting tips and forum rules. Read it again, check out some of the links. It will give you the *tips* you need to find what you're looking for.

For example: Here is a link from that page. http://www.shroomwizard.com/GGreat.html  click it, look past the pictures and read the very first sentence of the page. BTW, this is a great page, you can learn alot from it.

these are great pictures battery, you worked really hard to make them clear and detailed. its clear you weren't "lazy" nor were you stupid.
ive picked shrooms in golf courses, usually in the places they dump the grass cuttings. pan subbs usually, sometimes libs in the living grass, tho those dont grow in florida.

your camera is set to like 3 am. did you swipe it from a japanese tourist?

now you know what chlorophyllum molybdites is. if you hadn't  posted this find, you might have made the mistake alot of newbies make when encountering that mushroom in pasture habitats.. in that reguard you really are ahead.

i think it sad that youve tried to pull it together and follow the rules, follow the FAQ and be so diligent in trying to impress that you intend to be respectful. and get dragged through the mud for your efforts, not sad for you tho.
i mean, that was a NICE post. clear pics, spore deposits, measurements. you did MORE than you had to. and those pics could help someone else who is just reading not make a mistake. someone will say "hey, i saw those, i almost ATE those" and be safer.

as for throwing remarks at your IQ. thats silly. thats bitterness, and thats prejudice. - someone comes into the community a blank slate and starts learning, and they get treated as an inferior based on first impressions even when they are making a decent effort.

you could get evrything right on (tho youre certainly not obliged to be perfect) and im sure people would still deride you as a lesser person.

dont take it too seriously, just keep it about the mushrooms.  and about yourself. what matters.

from the pics, i would say he WAS doing feild research.

and by it he indeed learned that (withought, i might add poisoning himself) that chlorophyllum molybdites is toxic.

he also now knows psilocybe cubensis do not grow in golf courses.

hes on a roll. hope he isn't discouraged from learning more.
