i get the mucus bullshit every time i eat shrooms....like a runny nose or watery eyes or shit like that. maybe it's sinuses...

I haven't noticed huge differences between the two other than the duration of the trip, and maybe that shrooms make me sweat more.

Also with LSD, smells and tastes are a little more distorted than with shrooms.

With shrooms... I find that many things smell like shrooms that don't normally :wink:

I agree with heavenlyblue. The synergy with weed and acid are incredible-great synergy, with mushrooms- it doesnt go together as well.

acid - not too bad to eat. kinda pleasant aktually
shrooms - usually tastes like shit thrown in a blender with some mushrooms that have been shit on by someone else who was shit on by the tripping persons best buddy who ate his dogs shit so he could shit it out even shittier. not always tho. kinda taste good sometimes

LSD: Music can become the experience itself so to speak, listening to Pink Floyd with headphones and closing your eyes puts you in space.
Shrooms: I like music as a background. I like practically every song in the world on shrooms, even songs I don't really like, then after I've heard it on shrooms I like it sober forever after that. Sometimes there will be no music, and things don't seem quite right, then I am excited to remember I can turn some on :-D

LSD: Buildings, structures, cars, machines, man made shit seems so fucking awesome and weird. Seems like a distinctly man made drug.
Shrooms: Trees, plants, clouds, water, natural shit is awesome. People on mushrooms seem like they end up where the plants are no matter where they are. And if your in the woods, you end up totally off trail "in the bushes" alot of the time. Feels distinctly natural.

LSD: Gives my body a weird metallic feeling, and a metallic taste in my mouth.
Shrooms: Give my body a mushy gushy feeling and it's weird that my mouth is wet.

LSD: Stare at something long enough and start to hallucinate wildly, things turining into kaleidescopes and all sorts of CRAZY shit.
Shrooms: Things flow, melt, mesh together but I don't hallucinate as much as on acid.

LSD: Every now and then I feel like I I have gone totally insane.
Shrooms: Every now and then that I feel like I have become totally enlightened.

LSD: Leaving my house sometimes is so scary I refuse to do it.
Shrooms: I inevitably end up going out of my house despite what my intentions were when I began the trip.

LSD: Movies/TV are pretty awesome, it's like your in their world.
Shrooms: Staring at the TV just feels meaningless, boring, wrong.

Sort of subtle differences, they are both definitely similar though.

LSD: Impossible to sleep for 12 hours.
Shrooms: Not hard to sleep.

odd, last time i tripped (shrooms) i wasnt happy until i stood up and walked around looking at things. lying around scared me, i think i was worried that i wasnt using my body the way i was intended or something.

This is all "so far" and "subjective" -- and may change when suddenly an acid trip seems a helluvalot like a mushroom experience:
Music (in general what I associate):
*LSD- mindtwisting wordplay and weird effects (Coil, Legendary Pink Dots, Pink Floyd)
*Mushrooms - Goa Trance.

Body:
*LSD- feel speedy, tense, anxious (usually in a good way)
*mushrooms - relatively lethargic, MD** like body buzz

Visuals:
*LSD- warping of things around, flow of energy
*mushrooms- the "auras" or "true natures" of things, tattooing/embossing (distinctly something I've ~never~ experienced on acid- I'll see, for example, Aztec type tattoos on my arm and they'll remain on the same spot on my arm, bend, etc. as if an actual tattoo)
*LSD - things are brought to life as if audioanimatronic, like the Country Bear Jamboree
*mushrooms - trees dance because they're alive!

Mental:
*LSD- Where am I?
*mushrooms - What am I?

I always stick to my guns in saying LSD is my favorite, but it's been years, and mushrooms keep showing me new things in the meantime...

Now that I've tried both, I can finally contribute:
LSD come-down: Slow sort of return to normal self. Pretty gentle.
Shrooms: The come-down is harsher. I find myself feeling pretty shattered, and generally wind up spending a few days at least putting myself together before doing anymore.

LSD visuals: I found my visuals to be mostly tracers, auras, and that sort of thing. Things would warp if I stared at them for a moment or two.
Shrooms: My visuals are always intense, generally consisting of me lying in one place and watching everything morph into other stuff around me. Occasionally during these, I'll go off into my own reality that doesn't look much like the stuff really around me.

LSD + Weed: I haven't tried it. But is there anything that weed doesn't enhance?
Shrooms + Weed: My first trip didn't really start until I smoked a bowl. It was weak shrooms, but the weed brought it to a new level. Once I smoked my bowl, about two hours after eating the shrooms, I really started seeing some shit. I can hallucinate without the weed, but I usually smoke weed when I'm doing shrooms anyway.

Mental state:
LSD: Active, I want to move around and do things and look at stuff. My mind generally stuck to pretty happy thoughts. I was too busy to stop and really let myself think.
Shrooms: Passive, I want to lay there and watch the stuff move. Generally, the same effect everybody else reports. My mind moves down darker paths.

shrooms - passive, lathargic (sit in my room and watch yellow sub)
