Greetings. I introduce myself out of my general apathy concerning the state of affairs in the modern world. In no uncertain terms do I tell you that I expect to be bored here. But a working boy cannot be asked to expect the world without the oyster coming first.
I hope to find you all sufficiently versed in the writings of Boethius, and if you are not, I urge you to refer to my sig. Please excercise an understanding of basic taste and descency when dealing with me, if not a general appreciation of theology and geometry.

welcome to the good ol shroomery. you should like it here. youll probably have better luck with a conversation about theology and geometry in S&P. but go ahead and share your thoughts on theology and geometry with me if you want. oh and sorry but ive never heard of Boethius but ill give it a glance.

Hello lemon_lw. I thank you for your gracious welcome and would be happy to discuss the current state of moral degradation accompanying the modern world, due to it's lack of theology and geometry. However, I feel the Spirituality and Philosophy forum might be a better place to do this.
Boethius describes my worldview. I will allow his writing to speak for myself, and I suspect I will often quote from his Consolation of Philosophy.

Yes, it was most unfortunate that my people's revolution fell short of it's mark. Alas, that is in the past, now, and I am currently pursuing other interests, such as a serious inquiry into the workings of this very message board.
