Question About Storing

I have recently acquired about an oz of fresh mushrooms, I think. It is a very large bad that is about 25-35 good sized mushrooms (cubensis)I need to store them for a week, but possibly longer. I want to know if they will go bad or lose potency in a plastic bag for a week. There was a lot of moisture in the bag and I don't know if they could mold or anything. Somebody please help with the best way to store for a week.

Put them in a collander and dry them in front of a fan.
They will rot if left in that plastic bag.
After a couple days they should be good and dry. Put them in a dry baggie and keep them in a dry place out of sunlight.

Dry them - bone dry - as Nunciate recommends. I put mine, powdered, in a bowl inside an air-tight plastic tub together with some anhydrous calcium chloride - better known as the crystals that go in moisture traps - inside the fridge. Freezer would probably be fine too. Keeps it cool, dark and bone dry. No loss of potency in two months. The calcium chloride is not good for you, don't mix it with the shrooms, I put the whole moisture trap inside the plastic tub.

ive had shrooms too but they were completely dry how long will they last?

if stored in an air-tighth container (glass jar) in a cool drak place, they should last for years if dried properly
