think so? It's got a pretty even grow, should I just let it pin? I thought the patching is to ensure an even mycelium grow.

I wouldn't call that even. Even would mean it's all poking through at once. I'd give it another day, then brush around the loose verm to cover that which is poking through.

yes, do patch it. And put it back into the fruiting chamber.

Those spots will start to pin prematurely, just a light sprinkle just enough to just cover the myc, it will help. GL

As long as you covered just the myc areas it looks perfect.
