Compost Mushrooms... Cubes??
    #4590851 - 08/28/05 02:43 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

I burried 3 fresh PF cakes in my back yard compost. The Myc network grew unbelieveably well. Taking over the entire bin.

I've had 3 flushes so far. This is what the mushrooms look like.

In Compost

Gills

Picked

They are much fatter, and shorter thatn my indoor cubes. But they bruise blue, have black as night spore prints and otherwise look the same as my terrarium cased cubes.

I'm posting this for an identification. I want to be certain incase George Bush eat's them and starts giving them to friends.

Thanks

MMMM What strain did you grow?
They don't look like Texas or Gulf Coast of Florida....
The caps are rather convex with no nipple.
Things that make you go MMMMMMMM!

They look to have some sort of veil remnant. He says they are ecuador strain. Maybe some research could solve the ID problem.
