I found these mushrooms in Kenai, AK. Kenai is in the southcentral part of AK. They were growing in a sandy soil amidst many different decaying materials, mostly weeds. The majority of the weeds were a plant that was used for a scrubber because of its texture, not sure what it's called. The spore print was a chocolately brown, dark. Not much of a smell to them. The gills are very close together, gray in color, changing to brown near the margin in more mature specimens. They remind me of something I have seen years ago when researching, not sure what they are though.

not sure swingline, I will smoke a bowl and do some research. Do you have anything in mind what it could be?

YEAH ALASKA I lived there for 16 years of my life, left a lil while ago, and im on my way back to ive in Soldotna...which is like 10 miles from kenai. You go to kenai alt? or what....my name's dustin.
