Well this is just typical! :tongue:

- Now after the Aust election (naturally!), it turns out that the majority of those evil, pro-terrorist asylum seekers on the Tampa were, in fact, an ethnic minority from a small enclave in the centre of Afghanistan which had been oppressed by just about every other ethnic group in the country...
...so it turns out that these people probably were indeed genuine asylum seekers, who were being persecuted by the rest of the population...but I guess now they're happily spending their days (maybe permanently, according to the Govt recently) on a 9 square-mile chunk of phosphate called Nauru in the South Pacific...

I thought they sent the islamic terrorists from China and nearby to the Pakistani jail between two mountains in the middle of a desert. Which terrorists were locked up in Naura?
Is that even a real place?

Nauru and its an island near Boganville (if im correct) and the Solomon Islands - Chinese Muslims - did you know that there were Roman envoyes to Cathay and also theer are Jewish Chinese Yan peoples...

These were special "election terrorists", who the Govt said had infiltrated a load of Afghan asylum-seekers rescued from a sinking wooden fishing boat by a Norwegian container-ship captain, but refused entry to Aust to have their humanitarian cases heared - but somehow I think that intenational terrorists would probably be more likely to walk in through Sydney Airport with a shiny new fake ID & visa to go with his suit and briefcase, than risk possible drowning, exposure, hunger & thirst, shark attack or greedy & corrupt Indonesian customs official....

Nauru supplied the world with superphosphate (or the natural source of this which the island is made out of - ie millions of years of bird-shit) until it practically ran out & then tried to make itself into an off-shore tax haven, which unsurprisingly didn't work as there is no bank on the island.
It gets every supply from Aust, including drinking-water etc. and they have our currency as well...and we've given them AUS$120m to look after the Afghan refugees so we don't have to take them....hell they can find the room somewhere... :tongue:

...and the Govt was looking at possible electoral defeat before coming up with the "Muslim terrorist invaders from the north" idea, neatly coinciding with the terrible attacks on the US a couple of weeks later..... for electoral victory!
