giving thievery corporation a try is definately advisable. their good albums:

the cosmic game (the neww one with the flaming lips and david byrne)

sounds from the thievery hi fi (their best one IMO)

the mirror conspiracy (their most populat one)

for some mainstream "ficher price my first techno music" stylings, i couldnt think of any album more accesible that the chemical brother's "dig your own hole". thier previous album, "exit planet dust" is also very good, but it doesnt have the same psychedelic feel that "dig" has. highly recommeneded and still sounds fresh to this day and its almost been 10 years since it came out.

as for other chemical brothers albums, dont listen to them. they are TRASH.

yes, boards of canada, but virtually everything on warp records will keep you well taken care of - most obviously squarepusher and autechre.... and anti-pop consortium whether or not they belong, 'cuz i said so.

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

i always thought radiohead was trash myself. and when i say trash, i mean absolute garbage.

i was giving a noob-ass suggestion. out of all of the above listed artists, i can only count 3 that i would suggest someone else listen to and electronic music is one of the primary genres that i listen to on a daily basis.

for instance, not one of you mentioned a single ninja tune artist... *ponders*
