Cat Food??

While dude was mixing up his substrate, he began worrying that he wouldn't have the necessary 7 Tbls of brf. Then he glanced over to see his cat eating and had an idea. "I wonder if ground cat food could be a substitute for brf" he thought aloud.
After seeing that there was enough brf for the mixture and also being aware that there werent enough jars left for any more substrate, he put this odd idea of his to the back of his mind for another time.
Has anyone tried it? are there any brave souls out there who would try it out and let me know of their story so I can push the knowledge off to dude?

Depends on the food. If it is a meat based food it is no good. If it is mainly grains the shrooms will grow. Rabbit food works as long as you add something to lower the acidity. Good luck
